Here are a few shots of my Dad’s Christmas gift from us this past weekend.

Best chips in the world + really, really high elevation.

My dad’s tent…

Our tent…
As ironic as this was, we were thankful for our cozy little tent when it dropped to 40 degrees during the nights.

Some camping essentials…
Mmmmm, bacon.

Burger with all the fixin’s.

No explanation needed here…

Killer pancakes…

This is what you eat when you take my dad camping with you…Yes, my friends, that is salmon.
Hot dogs will not do for my pops.

An awesome fire. Every morning and night, thanks to my two favorite men.

Wonderful, wonderful nature.

Some cute wildlife. Gnawing on some not-so-wild dinner.

I must note: I did not alter, edit, or enhance any of the pictures of the lake.

Watching the tour boat go by….Wishing we were on it.

A little adventure…

This was the extent of my husband and my sense of adventure. We dunked into the ice cold water for a grand total of 2 seconds with our clothes on and called it good. We jumped off the rock my dad did two years ago, and lets just say we’re the kind of people who do something crazy once and feel no need to ever do it again.

Two awesome guys…

A waterfall hike to end the trip…

I think my dad enjoyed his Christmas gift. I know we did.
